Icons are very much used on the internet. Especially website designing. They are used in the menu sections of the website. For example a house symbol represents a home icon and so on. It enhances the website page designs.

Icon can be of different styles and sizes. The common format for icons is .png, .ico. eps. And the common sizes are 16×16, 32×32, 48×48. Formats like .eps can be scaled to any size. The common styles are rounded, aqua, glossy, vista icons, web 2.0 and sketch icons.
